Oil-mist filters VAU MT "KAMA 500 М"

Oil mist is an aerosol consisting of tiny droplets of oil or coolant (the coolant), formed in the process of turning, milling and other machines that use a coolant, as well as by heating the oil to high temperatures. The presence of oil mist in the air of the working place is hazardous because:

• Exposure to oil mist is unhealthy, while inhaled it accumulates in the respiratory tract and in the lungs;
• Depositing on process equipment and other surfaces, it forms oil-dust sludge. Especially susceptible to this effect are ventilation and air conditioning systems, forced cooling systems of equipment;
• accumulating on working surfaces, in units, control panels, etc., oil mist accelerates equipment wear and breakdowns, which increases operating costs;
• accumulation of oil and oil-dust sludge increases fire risk.

Use of appropriate aspiration equipment for oil mist in most cases decreases its ingress into the air of working areas. Connection of the unit to the protective casing of the lathe and milling machine dramatically reduces the ingress of oil mist outside the casing during operation.

APPLICATION:

Compact unit KAMA 500 M is designed for extraction of oil mist and fine suspended coolant droplets directly from the operating chamber of the lathe and milling machines.

The unit is installed directly on the milling machine and the receiving flange of the unit is connected to the counter flange of the machine casing by a flexible air duct.

The models come with low noise level, a 7-stage cleaning system including a HEPA 13 filter and a remote control panel with a fan speed controller.

STANDARD FEATURES:

• housing with door for quick access to filters;

• unit housing with door and two windows for the discharge flange (air discharge down or sideways);
